I’m always looking for ways to save on toys and games. Sometimes it’s not always easy. I’m big on buying stuff on sale or clearance and saving it for a rainy day or holiday. I was super excited about an email I got this morning! I LOVE coupons and use them regularly.

Go and check out www.hasbro.com/fun . They have great coupons for Playdough, Transformers, Baby Alive, Elmo and more! In addition, they have a daily game for 6 to 13 year olds, are giving away Hasbro toys & games every hour until the end February. AND – they have a daily deal. Today’s was a Baby Alive for 50% off! I unfortunately missed it, but I signed up to get the daily email for a heads up!

Remembering You & Enter to Win!

I have to admit that I had a preconceived idea as to what Remembering You would be like – a typical historical romance. I am happy to report that I was wrong. Note to self to insert photo of pie to represent humble pie. 😉

Remembering You is a book with an excellent story line that is more than just about a romance occurring during a historical event. It is about honor, forgiveness, relationships and loving people for who they were, are and going to be.

I love the twists and turns of this tale. I love the honor shown to the veterans and I especially love the grandparent/grandchild relationship portrayed in this book. I love the spirit of adventure this book offers as two war veterans and their grandchildren set out to revisit important places and people representing a time gone by during which they were fighting for freedom from World War II.

Tricia Goyer has provided us with a wonderful story about God’s healing power amidst dark times and spiritual redemption for past wrongs. Thank you Tricia!

What if you could make your own photo collages, cards, calendars, and scrapbook at home, without fighting with your computer. Here’s your answer the “Picture Collage Maker” by Pearl Mountain Software.

I’m not the most savvy person when it comes to editing photos and making cards. But, this software is very user friendly. With this software you are able to print, create desktop wallpaper, and email.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, why not bring a collage or calendar for your host/hostess. With this program they have 16 different Thanksgiving templates to choose from. Here are a few.

After choosing a template, you click on photos. It brings up your computer files and you can choose which photos to use. Easily by dragging them into the photo and they “pop” in. No more extra step by having to download pictures first on the Internet. Then drag them. Then having to wait for them in the mail.

Picture Collage Maker also have many other holiday and non holiday templates in addition to Thanksgiving.

I was experimenting with the program. Here’s my Thanksgiving photo of my dog and cats! (If you notice the template is the first one in the above group of pictures)

This is a wonderful and easy program to use. The hardest part was deciding which template to use! I will be spreading the word to all my friends about this product. Last week I wrote a post (read it at this link) about a company providing fresh, organic, in season fruit saying that I was going to try them out. I placed an order over the weekend. Apparently they process orders on Monday with the expectant delivery date being Wednesday or Thursday depending. We received ours today, which is ok. I will update you if our next order is any different in the way it is processed and/or delivered.

We received our box of organic apples, pears and cranberries via FedEx from FruitShare and I have to say I am impressed by the quality and taste. Very flavorful and juicy! The children were very excited and probably would have ate the whole box had I not held them back.

Our box contained a variety of 16 apples, 6 pears (2-3 varieties) and two containers of cranberries….Thanksgiving here we come! We could easily eat the whole box in a day or two with our crew, so I am grateful for the co-op we go to on Thursdays which provides us with some fresh organic produce as well. FruitShare is a treat. They truly choose quality fruit!

In celebration of Thanksgiving coming up, for healthy living and eating we are giving away a box from FruitShare! $39 Value! This would be a great gift idea for any family on your gift list this year. And yes, they do offer gift certificates. We where recently sent a adorable Hello Kitty lamp to review. This Hello Kitty lamp is simply adorable! You should have seen my youngest daughter’s face when she first saw it! She gave a HUGE smile and said “A Hello Kitty lamp?!” She was very pleased!

I on the other hand, am very pleased with this lamp. It is adorable and goes great with my daughter’s room decor. It would make a great gift for your little girl.

To sum this review up, my daughter and I are both very pleased with this lamp. As the picture shows you it is simply adorable and I love that it is very well made!
