Charm Factory Product Review

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

I was able to pick eight charms to add on to this bracelet. I picked the:

Love Charm– Because I wanted another faith charm.

Big Sister Charm– Because I love being the big sister of 8 children. 😉

Amethyst Heart Charm– My birthstone.

Grand Piano Charm– Because I love playing piano.

Pink Crystal Music Note Charm– Because I love music.

Large Sewing Machine Charm– Because I love to sew!

Cross In Heart Charm– To show that I am a Christian

Large Dolphin Charm– Because I love dolphins!

When I got the charm bracelet I was REALLY excited. The bracelet was very well made, and has a adjustable length which fit my 7 1/2 inch wrist perfectly! I could not find any fault with this bracelet. And might be ordering a couple more charms to add on to the bracelet! 😉

Here are some pictures of the bracelet:

I liked that the charms and beads are .925 sterling silver and manufactured in the United States, all lead and nickel free. Their pewter charms are also nickel and lead free. Charm Factory products do not contain cadmium, which is a concern with some products made in Asia. (The jump rings attached to their pewter charms do contain a small amount of nickel. A few imports that they do not make here, like some chains from Italy, are noted in product details.)

All of the charms where very beautiful, and makes such a nice accessory that goes with almost every outfit! Perfect for anyone who wants to have a bracelet that displays what they love!

Charm Factory’s costs vary on the charms that you decide to buy. They sell over 4,000 charms! And there is no limit to the amount of charms you can have! The charms range from pets, hobbies, to food charms.

I encourage you to check out charmfactory.com

Big Skinny Wallets Review

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

I was sent the:

Woman’s Taxicat Bi-Fold Wallet In Pink and I really liked this wallet. It was not too bulky, and I loved the pink color! 🙂 I really liked that the plastic “thing” in the wallet kept my money from sliding around and falling out. I thought that this wallet was a great addition to any woman’s closet! This wallet comes in 6 colors and is $23.95. I think this wallet is my favorite of the two wallets.

Executive Checkbook Bi-Fold Wallet With Zippered Pocket In Purple: This great wallet is perfect for the working woman as it holds about 40 thick plastic cards, checkbook, and stretched out cash money plus coins. Their special “divide & conquer” design breaks up your cards into 4 discrete areas so they don’t all stagger on one long row leaving huge lumps. How cool is that? The wallet was very nice. And comes in 6 colors. This wallet is $25.95

Movie Review Monday- Letters To God

Letters To God

We recently watched Letters To God via Netflix as we had a free one month trial. And we thought that this was a really great movie. This movie is about a young boy with cancer, and how he decides to write letters to God. And how is his family learns to deal with the pain of watching their son, grandson, and brother have cancer. This movie was very moving and you will need a box of tissues. The movie was funny in parts as well as sad in other parts. I highly recommend this movie for familys and children of all ages.

Here is the synopsis:

Tyler Doherty is an extraordinary eight-year-old boy. Surrounded by a loving family and community, and armed with the courage of his faith, he faces his daily battle against cancer with bravery and grace. To Tyler, God is a friend, a teacher and the ultimate pen pal—Tyler’s prayers take the form of letters, which he composes and mails on a daily basis.

The letters find their way into the hands of Brady McDaniels, a beleaguered postman standing at a crossroads in his life. At first, he is confused and conflicted over what to do with the letters. Overtime he begins to form a friendship with the entire Doherty family. Moved by Tyler’s courage, Brady realizes what he must do with the letters, a surprise decision that will transform his heart and uplift his newfound friends and community –in an exhilarating act of testament to the contagious effect of one boy’s unwavering faith against the odds.

Inspired by a true story, Letters to God is an intimate, moving and often funny story about the galvanizing effect one child’s belief can have on his family, friends and community.

Product Review: The Joy Of Jewelry

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

I received the God’s Princess Peach Pearl Single Strand Bracelet to review and really like it! It is comfortable, with a nice fit, easy to wear, and is really cute! I like the colors that Miss Joy used and the cute clasp! The bracelet came in a very timely matter so I was impressed by that! She packaged it very nicely with ribbon in a cute box so it is already gift wrapped. 😉 It is very pretty. The bracelet is $17.99. Here is her description of the product.

“Large and small peach colored Swarovski pearls give this lovely bracelet texture, while amethyst Swarovski crystals give it elegance. Simple and beautiful, this bracelet is fun and pleasant to wear.”

Review of Clementine Art Supplies

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

I received Clementine Art’s Natural Paint Set to review and here is my review.

natural_paint_image (1)

My children thought that the Clementine Art paint painted really well! No clumps, and it dried fast too! It washes of very well. Which is GREAT! 🙂

My second eldest daughter thought that it would have been nice to have some white or black in the kit as she could not make a day time scene in her picture as the paint was too dark. She had white and black in her other paint supplies but we chose to stick with using only the Clementine Art product we were provided for. My oldest daughter reported that the paint containers seemed to tip over easily so with younger children it might be best to have an adult helping.

One other observation that the girls made was that the colors do not dry true to the color that they appear. They dry a lighter shade of the color. This happens when you dry the pictures inside and outside in the sun. The colors look almost like pastels when dried.

We thought that it was nice that all of the Clementine Art Supplies where are natural. They have no chemical dyes, or other additives! How neat?

Eco Lips Review

I paid $1 to receive a full size lip balm and here is my review.

ecollips.jpg

I got the Eco Lips SPF 15 Berry Lip Balm and liked it. It smelled really nice. It wasn’t as waxy as other lip balms, so that was nice. And plus this lip balm has sunscreen powers in it to protect your lips. And it did protect my lips.

I really liked that it is all organic, and has no dyes or synthetic ingredients. It was a nice lip balm. But I still like my all time favorite lip balm. And in my mind nothing can beat that lip balm. (I won’t say which lip balm) I have tried a lot of organic lip balms. And I think this one is probably my 3rd favorite out of all of them.

I encourage you to check out Eco Lips. And all of their other great products!

Udder Nature Product Review

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

Thanks to Udder Nature for sponsoring this review.

Happy Camper Soap:

happycampersoap.jpg

This soap is great for taking on summer vacation to keep bugs away! It is made of saponified olive andcoconut oils, goat milk, shea butter, castor oil, and essential oils. It feels very smooth on your skin and has a soft repellent smell like that of most bug sprays. I took it on vacation and my family and I all loved it. The bugs didn’t like the smell of it and stayed off for the most part. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation to the woods!

Lemon Grass Soap:

If you love the smell of lemon, you will love this soap! It is made of saponified olive and coconut oils, goat milk, castor oil, and lemongrass essential oil. I used it to wash my hands and it gave them a fresh lemon scent. It’s great for using in the kitchen.

Citrus Fruits Soap:

This soap is my favorite of the three samples I tried. It is made of saponified olive and coconut oils, goat milk, orange, grapefruit, and essential oils. I loved the delicious smell of citrus fruits!

Monday Motivation

Last week’s Monday Motivation:

~ Finish reviewing products we received for last week’s Back to School Guide. With the arrival of Sir “Little” Stuff we are still working on them.

~ Get ahead on posts…maybe. We kind of did, but got behind too since we were only a few days ahead.

~ We still haven’t made it mini golfing or to the beach and those are on my lists if the weather would just cooperate on the days that I plan to do them! We made it mini golfing! We wonder if that isn’t what helped get my labor off to a start.

~ The garden. We really need to plant a few fast growing plants that we started inside, just to see how they do compared to our direct planting in the spring. Things like lettuce….We are so very behind on the garden! Still picking produce, but the weeds are overtaking us, unfortunately.

~ Hopefully have this baby! I have been very tired and uncomfortable, so I am hoping and praying that I will be rested up for labor and delivery. And I did! 😉 Amazing, I got something I was hoping for, but at the same time wasn’t all that ready for.

This Week’s Motivation:

~ Not much on the agenda this week. Resting, nursing and a little bit of work here and there. That’s about it.

My husband’s boss surprised us by giving him a week’s paid vacation, so we are very thankful for that blessing. Due to the change of ownership etc. that occurred last year we were not counting on any paid vacation time, so it was an unexpected blessing.

Sir “Little” Stuff is stirring, so I must go attend his needs before he dost loudly protest that I am not by his side…I am still only a couple feet away but you all know how newborns are, right?

Until next time…

Movie Review Monday: The Runner From Ravenshead

I received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While I consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, my review is my honest opinion and thoughts of the product.

yhst-45643785300623_2106_111750.jpg

When this movie arrived in the mail my 6 younger siblings took one look at the cover and started begging me to let them watch it! We were busy at the moment so I told them we would watch it later. When we did get to watch it my family LOVED it. This movie is SO funny! 🙂 At times we would be laughing so hard, and then at other times the younger children would be saying oh, no, oh, no during the exciting parts! I thought that this movie was very well made for being a homemade movie. We loved this movie and highly recommend it. I could not find any fault with this movie. All of the Steege children where ADORABLE!

Here is the synopsis:

Hot on location in Oregon’s picturesque Willamette River Valley, THE RUNNER FROM RAVENSHEAD features stunning scenery and an original music score recorded live by the FILMharmonic© Orchestra of Prague. This independent Christian film with an all-children cast provides fun-filled family entertainment and a message to challenge and inspire.

After a daring escape from Ravenshead Prison, Sam finds herself in worse trouble. Outrunning the relentless wardens seems impossible…she wonders how much longer her strength can hold out. But help is on the way – kind of. Henry, janitor for the City of Refuge Guide Service, is unexpectedly thrust into the line of duty when all the trained guides are called out on other missions. As he sets out on his long-awaited first assignment, he gets more adventure than he bargained for. Will the enthusiastic but awkward amateur guide persuade Sam to trust him before it’s to late? An allegory about finding refuge and rest from the metaphorical wardens we face in our lives.
